Three books just published but arriving too late to be read and reviewed
for this issue of ISIS are 'Tangled Up In Tapes Vol. IV,' Dylan's Daemon
Lover' and 'The Bob Dylan Companion'.
'Tangled Up In Tapes Vol. IV' by Glen Dundas should have been in stock at
'My Back Pages' a few weeks ago but was apparently delayed at the printer.
However, at the time of writing April 26, it was in transit air-freight
from Canada, and will be in stock by the time you read this piece.
'Dylan's Daemon Lover' by Clinton Heylin is; "The tangled tale of a
450-year old pop ballad," namely 'The House Carpenter'. An extract from
the book is published elsewhere in this issue of ISIS. The book is
available in hardback only, direct from Clinton Heylin price £18 (for
details see extract). Or as a paperback edition from 'My Back Pages' (see
their ad in the back pages of this issue) price £13.
'The Bob Dylan Companion' subtitled 'Four Decades Of Commentary' edited by
Carl Benson has previously been reviewed in Wicked Messenger #1431 in ISIS
83, and is now in stock at 'My Back Pages'.
